Please note that we have very limited spaces for dog sitting for the following dates:
August 24th - September 5th and fully booked for September 6th-October 15th. If your are coming to town during this time, we strongly advise to make plans for your dog care before you arrive as there are no kennels in Revelstoke. Salmon Arm and Golden are the closest locations for kennels.
July and August Bookings Notice:
Please note that we are fully booked for dog sitting and dog training from July 1st-July 21st and fully booked for dog sitting from July 28 - August 17. Group dog walks are still available but spaces are limited to current clients only and offered on week days only. We do have a few people we can refer you to for dog sitting during this time but those spaces may fill up fast.

Balanced K9 Training uses rewards based training with techniques that make training fun and safe. All dogs must either wear a flat collar or harness
We have nearly made it through our first winter here at the retreat and it has been an amazing one. Lots of doggy visitors enjoying lots of powder snow to run around and dig in, new features and changes over the winter to make your dogs stay even more enjoyable. We have added an undercover outdoor play area as well as a play room inside. Here are some favourite photos from winter.

If you are coming from out of town and need dog care during these times we strongly advise that you arrange to leave them somewhere before you arrive as there aren't any Kennels or dog care facilities in Revelstoke.

If you like having fun with your dog, then this course is for you! Small class size of maximum 6 people with loads of individual attention, focusing on life skills, not just obedience, using play and positive reinforcement techniques!
When: beginning Thursday 10th of September (8 weeks of class)
Time: 5:30pm-7:00 pm
Where: location to be confirmed on registration
Cost: $200 - ($100 deposit required to secure a spot)
Equipment required: Treat pouch, 30ft long line, hands free leash + belt (these can be purchased as a package from $40-$55)
This course will cover:
- basic commands (sit, down, stay)
- loose leash & enjoyable walks
- greetings on leash
- getting your dogs attention
- the most important of all : RECALL!
- various speciality areas, some will be chosen by students in advance
Some classes will include pack walks to practice commands outside under distractions as well as leash skills to avoid reactivity and for some doggy socialization
*All dogs must be up to date on Vaccinations

- K9 Control Unleashed: learn how to get more comfortable with your dog off leash by teaching them to stay closer, pay more attention and listen better,most importantly improve your recall!!
